Venticello Wedding | Sami and Conor
Sami and Conor's wedding was especially meaningful to me. Having photographed Sami’s brother's wedding, there was a sense of familiarity and belonging being with their family once more.
While I love the challenge of capturing senes of strangers, there’s something really special of being with familiar faces. I am incredibly grateful they welcomed me back into their world. Enjoy a few of my favorite images…
A few fun facts about Sami and Conor…
We are high school sweethearts :) so our wedding has been a long time coming!
We both love to go on adventure with each other and have fun, from hiking to traveling to competing with each other on a game we are playing! Fun is a huge part of our relationship, and I think it was seen in our wedding!
Conor loves to play basketball (he is obsessed) and I love to run (I am obsessed)!
Sami and Connor are a dynamic burst of energy and joy, bringing vibrant enthusiasm every second. It’s difficult to capture in words or even photos because their joy was so palpable. It was such a treat to witness!
Imagine exchanging your vows in a place that feels like a Tuscan villa, nestled in the rolling hills of Gold Country.
Venticello, in the charming town of Murphys, California, offers breathtaking views and old-world charm. Perfect for Sami and Conor’s Italian-themed wedding, this picturesque estate provides a private, romantic setting to celebrate your special day.
Advice to future couples who are currently planning their wedding:
Take it one step at a time, don't stress about the small stuff, and enjoy it! It can be a lot of work but it's fun to work together on such an important day for you both!
“Our favorite moments from the wedding were literally everything…!”
The Monday after our wedding we went to Italy, just a few days after the wedding! It was exhausting, but so much fun to explore Italy and have time just to be with each other. We went to Rome, Florence, and Sorrento! We were constantly on the move, but we were able to see so much and create so many fun memories with each other, as officially a married couple! Going right after the wedding was exhausting, but we couldn't recommend it more! It felt like we have been in a dream the last few weeks!
I spot a Jared in the wild (bride’s brother)! If you’re still looking for a videographer check out his work - Seider Media
“The reception was all we could have imagined as well! From dancing with all our family and friends (we loved that the dance floor was PACKED all night), singing to our favorite songs, to a bagel bar late night snack, and especially ending the night jumping in the pool, everything was so magical!”
We are so thankful to have so many incredible people in our lives! Our family and friends traveled from near and far to be a part of our wedding and made it so special for us. We feel so lucky!
