Resort at Squaw Creek Wedding

“Shoutout to our friends and family who showered us with more love than we'd ever felt before. Thank you for showing up for us in life and on the reception dance floor! And also to Elsa for making us feel comfortable from day 1 and for feeling like a best friend rather than a vendor on wedding day. What a gift!” - K&H

Integrating into Kirsten and Holden’s wedding day was effortless. I loved being Kiersten and Holden’s third wheel. It felt like I had known them a lifetime. They flowed through their day without hardly leaving each others side, taking it all in with so much gratefulness, appreciation, and love. It almost felt like time was constantly staying still, which can be so rare on a wedding day, but that's the result of K&H being complelety in the moment. Even when things changed, like moving their reception inside and canceling sunset photos (due to the smoke levels), they didn’t skip a beat with being completely in the moment and not letting anything bring their stoke down. Seriously, just a unicorn of a couple.

Enjoy a peek of their big day…

Fun Facts:

  • Our relationship started when we showed up to a Halloween party wearing onesies.

  • Our ideal weekend getaway is camping in the mountains - hiking down unbeaten paths, roasting s'mores, sleeping under the stars, and enjoying each other's company without our phones!

  • We give our dog new nicknames on the reg and force each other to eliminate one at the end of each month.

After their first-look, they exchanged vows in front of their beautiful floral set-up, where they tied the knot shortly after with friends and family. Exchanging vows privately was their favorite moment!

Kirsten and Holden value growing individually while being a team, finding joy in every day things, and are looking forward to building a family together.

Tell us about your honeymoon!

“We went to Bali and split time between the coast and jungle with the intention of living carefree while soaking in all the love and newlywed vibes. We went scuba diving, hiked up Mt. Batur for sunrise, explored the local culture and cuisine, skinny-dipped, played card games, and ate dessert multiple times a day, which we highly recommend ;-)”

The Ceremony

Advice to couples planning a wedding:

“It's impossible to please everyone (in wedding planning and in life!), so make sure to follow your own heart and intuition. Make important decisions with your partner as a team, and don't lose sight of the end goal if things get stressful during the process. On wedding day, things may not go according to plan and that's okay! Go with the flow and remember everyone is there to support you during your celebration of love.”

“We loved going up in chairs during the Horah, and looking around the dance floor and seeing everyone's sweaty and smiling faces - signs of a great party (and band)!”

The end.
