Lake Tahoe Elopement | Monika and Andrew

Tahoe never ceases to surprise me. Planning an elopement in the area is almost guaranteed to be an adventure. It's perfect for couples who are willing to go with the flow and make adjustments if needed, just like it happened to Monika and Andrew. The original plan was a warm summer day, but they had to push their date due to CA being on fire. This led to winter temps and an unforgettable adventure session ;) Monika and Andrew were total rockstars, and it was so special to see them finally commit their love to each other. Here are some of my favorite shots that take me back to this day...

We appreciate our family and friends being flexible and rolling with the punches to help make our special day perfect. Our planner and vendors stepped up to circumvent a unique set of circumstances (wildfires in August!!) to provide the exact day we had dreamed of & could only hope for come November!

Elopement tip for couples planning their adventure wedding:

Take time to learn & get to know vendors before selecting them so they’re just right for you, and have a plan B just in case... you may need to expect the unexpected!

Favorite moments…

”The first look in the meadows at our Airbnb, the signing of the ketubah with our closest friends & family to witness overlooking Emerald Bay, and the (freezing!!) adventure session after the ceremony that was just for us!”
