Lake Tahoe Engagement Session at "The Secret Spot"
Did you enjoy your trip in Tahoe??
“LOVED TAHOE and going to make it a reoccurring trip. To be completely honest, the engagement session was our favorite part of the week. We finally were able to take a fun step back from all of the wedding planning to focus on each other and have a special memory that we won't forget. Being able to share the sneak peek photos with our family that same day was incredible.”
Side note to future couples reading this: I typically can’t do same-day edits, but John and Veronica had a jammed-packed week, including their wedding celebration, so sending peeks before the big day was a must. Anyway, enjoy a peek at their pre-wedding shoot…
Veronica and John are THE BEST. Our journey has been a long one. John and Veronica had to postpone their 2021 wedding and photoshoot in Tahoe due to the wildfires that inched dangerously close to their venue. Instead of waiting to make it official, they decided to elope in Hawaii that year and save their grand celebration for this year! And it was definitely worth the wait. We started our time together with a pre-shoot at one of my favorite spots in Tahoe (aka "The Secret Spot"), and ended the week celebrating at Edgewood. They generously invited me to be part of their celebration and I stayed after hours to hang out :)
“We have been together for better or worse for over 5 years. Our favorite things to do is traveling the world as much as possible, exploring different restaurants, and grabbing coffee with our favorite third wheel, Mocha!”
John was introduced to Veronica by her older sister Lizz. “What won her over was John texting a GIF of a Bachelor giving a rose since it was bachelor season and his awesome dance moves when they finally met in person.”
Veronica’s worst fear was falling during the shoot. It’s tough to wear heal in Tahoe terrain! But a little trip made for this fun shot. We joke that she is still falling for John ;)
Fun fact: They share the same birthday!
There is always going to be challenges within a relationship but it is important to keep each other accountable, love each other, and push each other to be constantly improving every day.
Future goals?
“Keep the travel bug alive no matter what the future may hold and possibly an other fur baby.”
Thanks again for letting me part of your Tahoe week :)
