For Emma and Andres, this shoot was all about capturing their love in a place that reflects their sense of adventure and connection. They have been together for just over two years, and their relationship is built on exploring new places—whether it’s spending time in the Sierras, hiking, road-tripping, or checking out historic towns and new restaurants. And of course, concerts are always on their list!

Emma and Andres actually met almost a decade ago! Andres first saw Emma at a bar in 2015 but didn’t approach her. Then, in a twist of fate, he walked into a different bar later and saw her again—this time, behind the bar, working. They became friends, but it wasn’t until 2022 that they both decided (at the same time!) to give dating a shot. From there, everything just clicked.

One of the best moments from their relationship? Emma driving through a blizzard to hang out with Andres the first weekend they started dating. After that, she swore off driving in snow forever and made Andres take the wheel for every trip since!

Going into their engagement session, they were a little nervous about looking awkward in front of the camera—but that feeling disappeared pretty quickly. Once they got into it, they felt super comfortable, just being themselves, and ended up loving how natural and effortless everything felt.
