Yosemite Engagement Session | Dev & Aneela

“We come from two different countries and religions that don't see eye to eye. When we first met we didn't like each other and made it known, very soon everyone around us started noticing the Chemistry between us and we were oblivious to it.” But look at them now! Their connection and chemistry is undeniable. They bounce ideas and thoughts off each other effortlessly. There’s no doubt that Dev & Aneela are meant to be together.

Dev & Aneela chose Yosemite as their location for their engagement session…”Yosemite is special to us for so many reasons.... Our first trip together was to Yosemite as friends and on that trip we got to know each other and make a connection. All our visits since then has been an adventure. Yosemite is like a home away from home so it was the most obvious choice for our engagement shoot.”

First stop was the meadows…

“Our future goal is to travel the world and experience new cultures and taste different types of food. We would also like to have small house with a yard for Bulleit to play in and for us to enjoy summer BBQ's.

Life is an adventure and we are ready to go wherever it takes us.”

“Dev picked Yosemite for the proposal since we have history there. He is an amateur photographer and goes there all year round to capture the seasons. We were at our favorite spot enjoying a glass of wine and suddenly I turned around and saw him on one knee, I think I said yes right away....”

In regards to wedding planning…”Overall wedding planning is stressful but you have to remember to breathe and enjoy each moment of planning. Its our day and we should make it memorable.”

“We met while we were dating other people and weren't fan of each other. Everyone around us would tell us we should be with each other. We weren't seeing what others were, as friends we would spend time together but never saw each other more than that.We would joke, not to spend too much time with each other or else we would fall in love. Universe knew we should be together except us. It was waiting for us to realize it and appreciate it and at last we did after our first trip to Yosemite. We can't Thank God enough for bringing us together and making us realize how beautiful life can be and how two people from two different countries and cultures can love each other more than anything and put our cultural, religious differences aside to be together.”

We hiked up with an outfit change and these two managed to look this good, even after the hike! We were racing the clock to make sure we got to this viewpoint at sunset.

Made it!

We have a fur baby "Bulleit" and he is the love of our lives. We are movie buffs and love nature. We both like to try out new places to eat.

Dev & Aneela briefly mentioned what their wedding weekend was going to look like and AHH. It sounds EPIC. A fusion of two cultures and a lot of love. It will be one for the books. It is a weekend of celebration so there’s a lot of planning involved, but these two are total rockstars and making it happen. I have no doubt the execution will be brilliant.
