Lake Tahoe Photographer | COVID Elopement
“It was really special to get married on our favorite beach….we come to this spot with our dog often when we're in Tahoe, and it's become an important place for our little family. I'm glad we listened to our guts (and to Elsa!) on choosing a location that meant so much to us. It really made the difference.”
M and M are such a sweet couple. They have such a calming presence, and their laidback personality made for an effortless day. I hope our paths cross again, ideally during a trivia night (they're really good at Jeopardy). I think they would make Alex Trebek proud :)
Just like many other couples this year, they had to postpone their big celebration. They reached out to me in July, and within a few months, made it happen, and they got rewarded with beautiful fall tones and the best weather.
Enjoy a peek of their big day!
“We can't wait to continue on this adventure together. This year has put us through so much, and we're grateful for all we have & all that's still to come!”
Future travel plans:
“We have been cautious on planning a honeymoon right now, but we will probably take some time off this winter to drive around the West and see some new hiking destinations.”
Tips for couples planning an elopement: “Deep breaths! It all goes so quickly, try to slow down & enjoy every moment with your partner.”
Fun Facts:
“We watch Jeopardy every night, and our record is 43 correct answers!”
“We have traveled to 4 continents together.”
“Our prized possession is our record player & vinyl collection. We have everything from Shania Twain to The Platters to Odesza.”
Even Remy got to join! I regret not taking the time to play with her! It’s hard when I’m in photo making mode, but hopefully our paths cross again post COVID.
Love this pretty golden hour lighting
