Abel and Angelica were rockstars planning their destination elopement in Lake Tahoe. The planning and details came together within days, making it feel like a true elopement. It’s the kind of elopement where you buy your tickets last minute (they traveled from Dallas), plan an epic trip and go with the day’s flow. They got ready at Edgewood, had a lakeside ceremony, and then hiked with for sunset. And yes, Angelica did it all while wearing heels! Also, Tahoe obviously showed off for them…

The day of, they were so sweet and instantly felt like family around them; I'd be their third wheel any day :) Enjoy a few moments from their lakeside elopement!

Any travel plans? "We plan on going out of the country for our official honeymoon after Covid is over! And come back to South Lake Tahoe for a full week to really experience everything and visit Yosemite. Our stay at Edgewood Tahoe was our perfect honeymoon for now."

Advice to couples planning an elopement: “Everything will work out perfectly! If you plan on doing your own hair and makeup like I did, practice before so you don’t have a mini panic attack 30 minutes before you are supposed to get married lol”

I will say, her hair and makeup looked amazing!!

Favorite moments from the big day included their vows “looking into each other’s eyes as we said them, having our closest family there as we got married, the hike to our sunset pictures, and the views!”

Abel and Angelica want to continue creating memories together and traveling. They're really family-oriented and would like to grow their family, maybe one or two more kids and another fur baby! Hobbies include working out, trail running, and grilling (Abel grills and Angelica makes the sides)! They also keep busy with their three-year-old son and six-year-old Pomeranian.

"We couldn't be happier with the decision to have Elsa as our photographer! She was so amazing and our florist Chrissy was as well, the tailor who did the miracle alterations for my dress (in my time crunch of 1 week) was "BestFit Alterations1" in Dallas, Texas, we had our small intimate ceremony at Lake Tahoe Beach Weddings (Lakeside Beach), and officiant Meghan Ruiz."
