A Winter Wedding at the The Ritz-Carlton in Lake Tahoe

Eden and James tied the knot on a winter day that was equal parts calm, emotional, and full of personality—exactly how they wanted it.

Their venue, The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe, brought that quiet mountain charm with a touch of luxury. Surrounded by snow-covered trees and soft winter light, it gave their day a peaceful, intimate feel while still feeling like a celebration. It was the kind of place where you could pause, breathe, and really take it all in.

One of the most meaningful moments for them was the first look. James admitted he was nervous until the second he saw Eden:

I was so nervous leading up to it, but seeing Eden just made all that go away. It was the same kind of tunnel vision that I had when I proposed, but seeing her just made me so excited for the ceremony and seeing her dress and how she looked actually took my breath away- I mean just gorgeous

For Eden, it gave her space to exhale:

I definitely would agree, I couldn't even eat or drink while I was getting ready I was so nervous, but the first look just gave us a moment of privacy where I was able to take a breath with James and that breath carried me through the ceremony, it helped he looked so handsome. I also would just say our private vows moment we had together over coffee and then also we had a go pro attached to some fireball we passed around all day and that footage is pretty priceless- even got the grandmas doing it!

Their advice for other couples?

Trust your gut and remember it's y'all's day so you should do whatever makes you happy! There were a few instances where I had to remind myself of that or have James remind me of that and it truly paid off and put us both at ease

A few thoughts on future goals together:

Just to have fun being married and enjoy every moment together! Live life in the present and always make each other laugh and smile. Celebrate each other's successes and be there for each other in hard times. It's so grounding to know we will always be each others family now

Looking ahead, they’re planning to explore Italy in September, with stops in Rome and along the Amalfi Coast. But for now, they’re just excited to enjoy married life.
