COVID Elopement in Emerald Bay

“We thank our families for being flexible with over the past 8 months. We planned two big weddings and eventually opted for a virtual ceremony that only a few of our local friends attended. This was not the wedding we originally planned, but it was perfect.”

It truly was perfect. Enjoy a peak of their big day!

The ceremony took place at a rental overlooking Tahoe. It not only provided a beautiful backdrop, but it had access to a private beach in case we needed a back-up option for couples photos.

Their COVID elopement was mostly virtual, so they tied in their bridal party through zoom as they got ready.

Their favorite moment was the ceremony.

After the ceremony, they spent time with family virtually. It was really sweet and thoughtful.

Then we headed to this viewpoint! We wanted to have a little bit of everything for their couples photos: lake, forest, and the beach!

Any honeymoon plans or travel plans?

"Before Covid, we were planning to do a honeymoon in Europe. Instead we are spending a few days in Tahoe, then going to Zion in Utah, and the Grand Canyon."

Advice to couples planning an elopement:

"No one can really recommend how to plan anything in the time of Covid. Go with your gut with what YOU want to make the day special."
