Crystal Peak Park is located just west of Verdi (10 miles west of Reno, NV). It's a great spot to stroll around and photograph couples like Megan and Adrien! The parking lot is paved. This gives you easy access to several short trails surrounded by large trees along the Truckee River. It's the perfect area to explore with your family. You can also fish there! There are a few picnic tables on site and two small group areas (you don't have to reserve them). It's at a first-come-first-serve-basis, so make sure to reserve your spot early! There are also bathrooms on site.

Morgan recommended Crystal Peak Park for their fourth year anniversary pictures, and I'm so thankful she did! We were surrounded by vast open fields with tall grass. During golden hour we had rays peaking through the trees and the sky filled up with pastel colors for sunset. It was quite the show! We shot straight through twilight and the shadows and highlights of blue were out of this world. The open meadows gave us even light through out the whole session, which is every photographers dream. Also, Endar came a long (scroll a few pictures down to meet their non-human child). You'll be glad you did. He was wearing a bow tie! How adorable is that?!

The tones and colors were inspired by nature itself! Deep shades of greens and the pastel colored skis took over this session. Their outfits complimented the scenery perfectly. The simple design and color on Adrian's shirt stood out in a see of green and Morgan looked stunning in her little black dress (which is the ideal outfit for everything)!
